The most recent event was our attendance at the Sailors’ Society Annual Service held in South Leith Parish Church on the 19th November. A few of the Glasgow Branch members and their husbands attended and after a buffet lunch in the church hall we then proceeded to the Merchant Navy Memorial on the shore, where a short service was held and a wreath laid on behalf of the Watch Ashore.
